Hello, everyone, and welcome to Week 2 of the 2013 season of LUNCH JUDGMENT! I hope that I enjoy myself.
If you're new here, this is how it works:
1. You leave a comment below, describing the lunch you have eaten or are eating today.
2. Time permitting, I will respond with a comment of my own. I will rate your lunch on a scale of one to 10, and I will do my best to explain my rationale.
3. You will accept this ruling as accurate, absolute, and superseding of all municipal, state, and federal rulings.
NOTE TO WEST-COASTERS: I certainly don't mean to leave you to chill in the shade of lunch chaos and uncertainty. If it is not yet lunchtime where you are, feel free to submit the lunch you ate yesterday.
You should know, friend, that while I am not out to hurt you, I will tell you your lunch is cruddy if it is cruddy, and I will not mince (food term) words.
Unfortunately, I usually don't have enough time to review every lunch submitted, but I will get to as many as I can. While you're waiting for the gavel of justice to land upon your lunch, here are some things for you to read. Of all the things we've done at SB Nation over the last week, these are three of my favorites:

The peerless Jeb Lund, aka Twitter's @Mobute, stopped by this week to invent and play a new sport: watching all six Fast and Furious movies consecutively. The result: one of the most thoroughly enjoyable things I've read in recent memory.
HOW LONG IS THIS? Pretty long.

After plenty of fascination from afar, Spencer Hall traveled to Memphis to experience one of the strangest cities, and most endearing teams, in the Union. God, I love that landlord line.
HOW LONG IS THIS? Eh, five minutes, maybe?

No, acknowledges Paul Flannery right at the outset, the Spurs are not a fun team. But as he convincingly argues, they are a team to behold and perhaps even to cherish.
