A field of 32 animated GIFs has been whittled down to four. Tuesday, we vote to decide which two GIFs will compete in the championship.
We have now reached the Final Four of GIF TOURNAMENT III, a celebration of our favorite animated sports GIFs from the last five months. And boy howdy, the decisions weren't always easy.
If you followed along on Twitter last night, you know the story: with 20 minutes remaining in the polling, TIM LINCECUM, who had led throughout the day, suddenly fell slightly behind his challenger, SCREAMIN' MARINE. Bedlam ensued.

Indeed: after a full day of voting, TIM LINCECUM managed to hold on, 1,132 votes to 1,115. Can he advance to the championship? Well, let's figure that out today.
